John Fincham - Broker
I count myself extremely fortunate to have lived in cottage country almost all of my life, growing up on Horn Lake just outside Burk’s Falls. My Mom and Dad, who still live there, planted the seeds at an early age that gave me a lasting love of everything outdoors. My summers were spent exploring the bush, paddling my small cedar strip canoe and fishing. Winters found me cross country skiing, snowshoeing and running my team of Alaskan malamutes. My range of exploration widened with countless adventures throughout the region and beyond.
Those trips around lakes and down rivers would turn out to be invaluable for real estate later in life. Sue and I continue adventuring paddling, hiking and exploring in our VW Westy with our 2 golden retrievers Tilley and Ollie.
As my knowledge of the Muskoka and Parry Sound regions has grown so has my personal involvement in the community which, combined with business experience, has given me insight into the intricacies of northern real estate.
Media outlets have drawn on our knowledge of Muskoka real estate for magazine and newspaper articles as well as for television and radio interviews. Bloomberg, The Globe & Mail, The New York Times, C.B.C., Manison Global, The Toronto Star, Streets of Toronto and CFRB radio are a few our recent segments.
Sue Jamison - Artist & Writer
Hi. I’m Sue, an artist and writer living in the Muskoka/Parry Sound area. Wandering the waterways and forests around cottage country and beyond has been an element of my journey in life for as long as I can remember. This curiosity of nature and the desire for beauty and adventure has lead me from lakes and winding rivers, to the stillness of beaver ponds, near and far.
Travelling in all seasons, by paddle, on foot , by skis and snowshoes, or by dog team, I have a deepened desire to share these experiences through my writing, photography and water colour.
Together with my partner John, and our two dogs, Tilley and Ollie, we live on the shore of a small lake on the western edge of Algonquin Park. Through our adventures, I hope to instil a connection, knowledge and appreciation of the lakes and surrounding areas that you choose to enjoy.
